Our Experience – The owning partnership behind Imagination Parties has professional training and experience in all the industries that will vividly show up in booking with us. We have professional event planners/brand creators paired with Disney-trained characters/skilled performers. That unique combination makes for the best overall experience for our customers. Working with leaders in many industries gave the owners of Imagination Parties the knowledge of high-caliber event planning & the ultimate in delivering the premium character experience in Utah. Maybe even importantly, our owners at Imagination Parties have large families of their own with children ranging from 1 year to 22 years old, and so we know thru first-hand experience of what it takes to really entertain children! :)
Our Talent –Like many of the options in Utah seem to be, Imagination Parties is NOT a “one entertainer show." We are a licensed company that stands behind our services and products. Our mission, as a small business, is to put the time, energy, and resources needed into your experience with us. Imagination Parties makes the commitment to settle for nothing less then the best in our cast, services provided, and overall brand! The goal is to provide the most authentic characters who are the very best with children. Imagination Parties searched throughout Utah, not only for talent that could look & play the role extraordinarily, but also talent that had extensive experience working compassionately with children. In addition, all of the talent at Imagination Parties possesses a strong talent in singing, story telling, dancing, or all three!

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELATION POLICY?
Cancelations after submitting a completed contract are subject to a $50 non-refundable fee. Party inquiries without a submitted contract are not subject to a cancellation fee; however if we emailed you a contract & you no longer want to hire us, please let us know as soon as possible.
WHAT HAPPENS IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY?
Rare situations occur in everyone's lives, however if there is an emergency with your party performer, we will do our absolute best to fill their absence. We will always work with you to come to the very best solution with whatever scenario arises and will do all within our control to ensure positive experience. What type of set-up do you require?Wide, open space is best for our entertainment portion. With face painting / makeup / play tattoos, please have a table for our arts case & two chairs facing each other. Imagination Parties does request that you kindly set these up in advance.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN THE PARTY PERFORMER ARRIVES?
The Entertainer will arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to the performance start time & will call the phone number that you provided on your Imagination Parties Agreement. If there is no answer, she will greet you at your door! Is your face paint & makeup safe for children?We strive to not only make your party as enjoyable and memorable as possible, but we pay close attention to ensuring we also provide the safest environment for your children. All of our face-paint & makeup is hypoallergenic & a high-quality grade. We are not liable however, for any allergic reaction that may occur.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WITH THE ENTERTAINMENT?
Well-choreographed show-stopping fun! We provide our own Ultimate Electronics wireless sound system and everything is set to fun, child-friendly music that scales the emotions of amazement, silliness & heart-felt memories in the making. You can expect a party that will match their imagination.
WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND AS GRATUITY FOR MY PARTY PERFORMER? 15% – 20% of the base rate would be greatly appreciated. Our characters are some of the most sought after, highly trained, most authentic, best talent in Utah and they take great pride and preparation in the product they offer. Imaginations Parties is thankful to those who reward them with gratuity for their efforts.
IS IMAGINATION PARTIES LICENSED?
Yes, we are proudly licensed as a corporation and meet the licensing regulations for the State of Utah.
IS IMAGINATION PARTIES INSURED?
We are working with an insurance company to offer this option for the future, but for now, please be advised that Imagination Parties assumes no responsibility or liability for accidents or damages caused during your party, to your guests, or to your property. Your Party Performer will do his/her absolute best to ensure safety; however liability will be the sole responsibility of the client. Imagination Parties offers characters that have been professionally trained and are required to pass our company certification before they enter the field. Each character has been instructed extensively with standards/guidelines originated by some of the most well respected companies in the entertainment industry.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
We recommend you book 6-8 weeks ahead of time. This will give you a better chance of getting the party host and date of your choice. If you have a last minute party request, feel free to call us and we'll accommodate you if we can.
WHAT DAYS AND HOURS DO YOU DO PARTIES?
Our party hosts do parties Monday through Friday 2:00 - 9:00 pm and on Saturdays between 9:00 am and 8:00 pm. If these times do not work for you, feel free to call and request a different time and we will accommodate your request if possible.
HOW DO I BOOK A PARTY?
We book parties on a first come first serve basis and do not hold dates without a deposit. The deposit amount depends on the type of party you are booking. All deposits are applied to your total party price and the remaining balance is due in cash on the day of your party. Party options are shown on our website along with what each package includes, pricing and "add on" items you can reserve for your party. WHAT IF I NEED TO CHANGE MY PARTY DATE OR CANCEL THE PARTY?
We will work with you to find a date that works for your schedule if you have an emergency and need to change your party date. We will apply your deposit to another date as a one-time courtesy. If you do not want to reschedule, you will lose your deposit payment.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?
Deposits and/or full party payments can be paid by major credit cards (Visa & Master Card) on our website at ImaginationParties.com as well as money orders or cashiers check. All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE because the Party Performer was reserved for your event is considered unavailable for other parties. HOW DO I KNOW MY RESERVATION IS CONFIRMED?
If your first or second choice of party entertainers isn't available, or if your date request is not available, we will contact you by telephone to see what other options you are willing to consider. After a party entertainer and date is secured, we will email you a confirmation with who is coming, the date and time, party package, and the balance due including mileage. Also, your party entertainer or an Imagination Parties' representative will call you the day before your party to confirm everything with you.
HOW FAR DO YOU TRAVEL / WHAT IS THE MILEAGE FEE?
We host parties in Utah along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake and Utah Counties). Included in all of our packages is 15 miles from the address of the entertainer booked for your party. Wondering if we will travel all the way to you? Contact us for specific inquiries. We'll accommodate you if we can. We charge .50 per mile one-way for party entertainers to come to your location. .50 per mile is the IRS standard for mileage reimbursement and takes into account gas costs as well as standard vehicle wear and tear. We use Google Maps to determine mileage and input the character's starting address as well as the party address. WHERE ARE YOUR PARTIES HELD?
We bring the party to your home, park, church, a reception hall, or wherever you would like. Please provide us with a complete address including the city and zip code for all parks and venues. Weather permitting; we can host your party outdoors. The birthday party should feature a clean open area for our entertainment. The weather should be between 65 and 85 degrees for a party to be comfortable for the entertainer and party guests if held outdoors.
HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN WE INVITE?
There is a maximum number of 12 children you can invite for a 20 minute character appearance. This is to ensure the quality of encounter for all involved. Character parties are for 12 children or less. These limits are primarily in place for manageability. Need additional spots? Please contact us for any options available.
WHAT TIME SHOULD I SCHEDULE THE PARTY HOST TO ARRIVE?
If you are inviting a character to entertain at your party, we recommend asking the entertainer to arrive at least 15 minutes after the other guests. This way, everyone will have arrived by the time the party entertainer gets there to lead the activities. If possible, please have the party guests waiting away from the set arrival destination for the character entertainer. This will ensure the guests won't see the entertainer arrive, helping to setup a grand entrance. If you have an extra adult on-hand to help the party host carry supplies into the party, it can be helpful.
WHAT DO PARTY IMAGINTATION PARTY HOSTS BRING?
We bring all supplies needed to conduct the activities included in the party package you have booked. Party entertainers bring everything needed for the games we play, the crafts we provide, and the non-toxic, professional face paints we use. We supply our own storybook for story time and coloring pages and crayons where applicable. The Party Packages tab on our Imagination Parties website gives a list of what activities will be provided for each party package.
ARE BOYS WELCOME TO PRINCESS PARTIES? (OR GIRLS TO PIRATE OR SUPERHERO PARTIES?
Yes! Our party entertainers are used to a few boys at a princess party or girls at a mostly-boy party. While the general theme may appeal more to one gender, the Party Peformers are great at involving everyone and all activities can include both girls and boys.
WHAT SHOULD THE PARTY GUESTS WEAR?
When applicable, it can be fun to include instructions on the invitations such as "Come dressed in your princess or pirate attire", but it is completely up to you!
IMAGINATION PARTY HOST SAFETY AT YOUR PARTY
Our party host will be accompained by a chaperone or will be booked in pairs. If the party entertainer feels unsafe at your party for anyreason, they will leave the premises immediately. No inappropriate language or behavior of any kind will be tolerated. An unsafe party atmosphere violates the agreement and we are under no obligation to provide party services to the children as a result. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone. When you pay your deposit to book a party, you are agreeing to provide a safe environment for party guests and our entertainer. We also advise clients to supervise all party activities. Although the party performers are there to entertain the children, it is the responsibility of the client, and/or guests' parents to resolve behavioral problems, watch after, and care for the children in the event of injury or illness.
NOTE ABOUT COPYRIGHTED CHARACTERS
We are pleased to provide birthday party entertainment for your child and guests. However, it is not our intention to violate copyright laws. Should you have the need for a licensed, copyrighted character at your event, we encourage you to contact the company/copyright holders for the specific character. Imagination Parties is an independent company providing fairytale princess and pirate character impersonations and does not claim to have any affiliation with the Walt Disney Company, Universal Studios, and/or any of their respective subsidiaries.
